A local Ohio-based business recently gained attention from a mentoring organization. The SCORE Foundation offers both small business mentoring and awards for significant players. Licking County’s own Homestead Beer Company has made a name for itself in the local brewing scene, and could also be an example of an Ohio company with larger appeal. Small business consulting can be a possible stepping stone to a bigger industry presence.
According to the organization, Homestead benefited from SCORE mentoring and has grown as a result. Homestead co-founder Adam Rhodes specifically mentioned the brewery’s impact on the local Ohio scene.
He also cited SCORE’s mentoring as a useful guide through the business’ development, something other financial consultants may similarly bring to small business owners. As of Sept. 15, Homestead will have the Outstanding American Manufacturer Small Business award.
“The response from consumers across Ohio has been immense and the pace of growth has been astronomical,” Rhodes said. “We are thrilled to represent Licking County and to show off the renaissance in manufacturing that is going on in our backyard,” he added.
“Owners have a range of funding options to choose from based on their business plans.”
Licking County may be near Columbus, but its residents could require their own capital finance solutions. The different loan programs available give owners a range of funding options to choose from based on their plans.
It’s important to note that these programs can assist with physical acquisitions, like new construction, as well as addressing existing financial issues, like refinancing debts.
Whatever the purpose, an individual business budget can dictate which option it chooses, leading it to specific savings. Determining a sustainable solution and how to pay back all lenders leaves businesses better off than before and with manageable costs.
