Kate Kerr – Program Director for Community Advantage Loans
Kate is the director of the Community Advantage loan program. Our loan program provides small businesses access to financing for the purchase of commercial real estate and equipment, for inventory and working capital as well as for business acquisitions and debt refinancing Previously Kate served as the Vice President for SBA Lending with Fifth Third Bank for nearly 15 years. Prior to Fifth Third she had a successful career at First International Bank, a subsidiary of UPS Capital as a Senior Lending Specialist for SBA, USDA and EXIM lending. Kate began her banking career with Ameritrust in Cleveland in 1981. Kate has extensive experience in lending, business development, marketing and organizational leadership. Working with small businesses is Kate’s passion and her work with SBA Community Advantage will allow her to impact the Mission of Growth Capital. Kate is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and MBA from Case Western Reserve University.
