In Ohio, alcohol manufacturers are a steady employer and source of revenue. On November 27, the state department of commerce released a statement detailing the growth in the number of alcohol manufacturing licenses issued by the state. As a sign of growing business interest, owners in this industry could work with business consulting professionals for help securing the necessary funds and encouraging financial growth.
Almost 580 manufacturers have received licenses from the state, the press release states, with a majority of them going to wineries and craft breweries. In addition, the holiday season is expected to drive up sales further.
In a separate release, Commerce Director Jacqueline Williams said that November and December often account for “approximately 20 percent” of liquor sales each year. In the first statement, Williams describes the importance of businesses that produce beer, wine and spirits have on the local economy.
“These businesses produce high quality, world-class products made right here in Ohio, many with locally sourced ingredients,” Williams said. “They benefit the state by offering the kind of products Ohio consumers want and contributing to job creation and economic growth.”
The same release also notes another benefit of the increase in alcohol providers: it has led to greater employment, with Ohio currently a significant job creator in the United States. In general, Ohio has produced 387,500 jobs within almost five years.
Capital finance support may require local business owners to consider the appropriate options for them carefully. Growth Capital gives Ohio business owners the support they need to make decisions that will keep their business growth rate constant.
