Recognizing the different exceptional business leaders in Ohio will help draw attention to local success. The National Small Business Administration recently chose a Small Business Person of the Year for the Ohio District, according to a press release featured on Ohio.com.
The announcement comes as part of the group’s National Small Business Week observances. This event encompasses the first week of May and seeks to highlight achievers across the country. The source listed some of the factors in nominating someone for this honor, which include how an entrepreneur has reacted to businesses adversity and the strength of the business’ financial performance. This year’s recipient for that district is InterChez Logistics Systems Inc. CEO Sharlene Ramos-Chesnes.
This statement also included remarks from Gil Goldberg, the SBA District Director, who praised the impact of her efforts on the business community.
