The Small Business Administration is taking the next two years to connect with businesses across the country. In an event called Ignite Tour, the agency said it will give business owners in various states a chance to meet and voice their opinions to Linda McMahon, the new Small Business Administrator and a co-founder of World Wrestling Entertainment. It may also be an opportunity for those who don’t yet know it to learn how to get an SBA loan.

In a press release, the SBA said that McMahon will visit several cities across the country this summer alone, including Seattle, Anchorage and Milwaukee. Though none of the immediate cities were in Ohio, the June 21 statement hinted at the long-running nature of this campaign.

“McMahon appeared in Pittsburgh and met with local business owners.”

On June 26, McMahon appeared in Pittsburgh to meet with locals, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. This source specifically said that McMahon spoke to a group of concerned area women business owners about such hurdles as difficult tax policies.

She also reportedly affirmed the work that the current presidential administration was doing and cited the importance of hearing firsthand accounts from owners.

“You can write policy all day in Washington, but if you don’t get out in the field and listen to entrepreneurs and listen to the front line staff, you don’t learn what they need,” she said.

Owners don’t just need sources capital financing to help grow their business, but programs that fit their specific situation. The wide application of the SBA 504 loan program may make it a perfect choice for businesses in all sorts of different industries, including manufacturing, medical and retail. Growth Capital can help your business secure the finances it needs for major projects and refinancing.
